Peder Fredricson victorious in Dura Vermeer prize

In 2017, Peder Fredericson and H&M All In won the Longines Grand Prix in Rotterdam. Today the Swedish pair won the first jumping contest of this CHIO Rotterdam, a 1.55m jumping competition against the clock. France's Penelope Leprovost came in second place with Vancouver de Lananlore and Piergiorgio Bucci (ITA) finished third.
The double at the end of course designer Santiago Varela's test proved to be too difficult for the majority of the participants. Rider after rider failed at obstacles 12A and B. Fifteen combinations managed to remain faultless through to the end.
Dutch rider Sanne Thijssen, who finished as the best home rider in fourth place, rode her debut in Rotterdam and held her own against strong international competition. She managed to keep het compatriots - Michael Greeve with Guan GJB, Jack Ansems with Fliere Fluiter and Kevin Jochems with Turbo Z - at bay as they placed fifth, sixth and seventh.
The Dura Vermeer prize is a qualifier for the Longines Grand Prix.
