Dressage riders TeamNL FEI Nations Cup

Chef d'Equipe Patrick van der Meer has announced the combinations that will represent TeamNL in the FEI Nations Cup for dressage riders at CHIO Rotterdam. The CHIO Rotterdam is the second and final observation competition for the TeamNL dressage riders on their way to the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.
Van der Meer chose the top four from the Grand Prix Special of the recently held Dutch Championship for Rotterdam. On Thursday, June 20, the following combinations will defend the Dutch honor.
Dinja van Liere – Hermes N.O.P.
Emmelie Scholtens - Indian Rock
Marlies van Baalen – Habibi DVB N.O.P.
Edward Gal – GLOCK’s Total US
Patrick van der Meer: “In Paris, the Grand Prix Special is decisive for the team competition. I have now chosen for CHIO Rotterdam the four combinations that scored the best in that test during the Dutch Championship, but it was a difficult choice. The level at the Dutch Championship was extremely high, and the results were very close to each other.
CHIO Rotterdam is our second observation competition towards the Olympic Games, and anything is still possible, especially because everyone was so evenly matched during the Dutch Championship. The combinations that are not in the team now will ride their tests in Rotterdam on Wednesday and Thursday under the exact same conditions as the combinations in the team competition. This allows me to compare all performances well.”
