Exactly 75 days until the Longines FEI European Championships Jumping, Dressage & Para-Dressage 2019 kick off! They will be the largest equestrian event ever held in Rotterdam and the second largest in the Netherlands (after the World Equestrian Games in 1994). Riders across Europe are now fully focussed on the upcoming EC's.
All preparations are in full swing and move ahead smoothly. Last month an FEI delegation visited the venue. We discussed many practical items such as the TV broadcasting including the host broadcaster NOS. In August there will be more equestrian sports on Dutch television than ever before!
Rotterdam gets horse fever
Tebbie, our giant EC-horse is showing up in the city and seems to be quite attractive. People from all over the world are making selfies with Tebbie. Our mini jumping course is roaming around Rotterdam elementary schools and our local kids turn out to be great jumpers!
Excitement for Boulevard
The new Boulevard concept for merchandise and entertainment is very well received. All commercial stands are sold out! And it's going to be a great experience. Our title partner Longines will bring their famous carrousel. BMW is presenting their latest cars in an exciting glass box. Onori, our merchandise partner developed a beautiful range of EC wear which will be for sale at the Boulevard.
