Swiss score again in Falsterbo
Team Switzerland posted their second win of the season in a down-to-the-wire thriller at the fourth leg of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ 2023 Europe Division 1 series in Falsterbo, Sweden today.
And it was anchorman Martin Fuchs (Conner Jei) who sealed it once again for the side that also included Steve Guerdat (Dynamix de Belheme), Elian Baumann (Little Lumpi E) and Janika Sprunger (Orelie).
The Swiss finished with just four faults ahead of Great Britain and USA who were only separated by combined times when each completed with eight on the board, while The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Sweden and France lined up behind them in that order.
Switzerland now heads the Europe Division 1 leaderboard going into the fifth and penultimate leg of the qualifying series which will take place at Hickstead (GBR) in two weeks time. The top seven teams in Europe Division 1 will qualify for the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final 2023 which will be staged in Barcelona (ESP) from 28 September to 1 October.
