It was an early start this morning for the eleven combinations in the CDN Grand Prix Special presented bij RS2. The top 3 consisted of the same combinations as in yesterday's Grand Prix, but in a different order. Yesterday, Dutch rider Hans Peter Minderhoud honoured the saying 'ladies first', but today he claimed first place for himself with the stunning GLOCK’s Toto jr with an great score of 74%. Yesterday's winning combination, Dinja van Liere and Hartsuijker, took second place with 73.713%. The combination in third place also crossed the 73% mark: Marieke van der Putten and Torveslettens Titanium RS2 N.O.P. scored 73.404%.

Hans Peter Minderhoud commented: "Yesterday I was already very pleased with Toto jr., but today it went even better and easier. The entire walk and trot part was really nice. The canter was good as well, but there are some things that could be a bit more precise. We'll get there certainly, because there's nothing GLOCK's Toto Jr. can't do. The walk, trot, and canter are super. The piaffe, passage are very rhythmic and he keeps getting beteer with every test. To be honest, when I had completed the test, I expected the score to be a bit higher.

I've always been upfront about wanting to go to Paris and I hope I've done enough to prove myself with yesterday and today's rides. I'm very happy with how GLOCK’s Toto jr. is developing. He is a fantastic horse, but he is quite a character as well. The past three years he has not competed and primarily performed as a breeding stallion. It's clear that he felt more like a breeding stallion than like a sports horse. In the meantime he has gotten more focused on me and he clearly takes to his work in the arena with me. His head is in the game and he's giving it his all. That's a very nice feeling."
