Welcome by FEI President Ingmar Vos

On behalf of the Fédération Equestre Internationale, welcome to Rotterdam (NED), for the third leg of the highly successful Longines League of Nations™. Over the coming days, we once again look forward to seeing the world’s 10 finest Jumping teams compete at the third of four qualifying events around the world, aiming to secure points in to make it through to the Final which will take place in Barcelona (ESP) from 2-5 October 2025.
Our journey with the Longines League of Nations™ once again started out in Abu Dhabi (UAE), before bringing us to Ocala (USA), now we are here in Rotterdam and in September we will have the pleasure of discovering St. Tropez Haras de Gassin (FRA), a venue making its debut to the series. Once all the qualifiers are behind us, we will come together at the Real Club de Polo in Barcelona to witness the top eight teams battle it out for the ultimate team title. It is with great anticipation that we await to discover the laureates of 2025!
Team work is inherent to the equestrian landscape at all levels and every athlete you will see here that has been selected to represent their nation is effectively representing countless individuals and organisations that have not only supported them and their horse but paved the way to compete on the global stage. This is what makes the Longines League of Nations™ so special – it is a celebration of horsemanship, collaboration, expertise, determination and passion.
I would like to thank Ron Voskuilen and his team, as well as all those who have dedicated their time and support to the successful running of this event. I would also like to thank Longines, Title Sponsor and Official Timekeeper of the Longines League of Nations™ for their unwavering support. It is with great passion and enthusiasm that we experience the second edition of this prestigious series, which allows us to continue to raise the profile, visibility and reach Jumping around the world.
To the athletes and their invaluable support teams, I wish the very best of luck! Lastly, to all the fans, I hope you enjoy every minute of the best our sport has to offer.
