A Dutch victory in the Port of Rotterdam prize. Kim Emmen and het 12-year-old stallion Warriors Glory triumphed in this 1.45m international jumping competition in two phases, an impressive feat in a contest that featured over 80 combinations. Emil Hallundbaek from Denmark came second and French rider Gregory Cottard finished in third place.

Tonight's final competition was thrilling until the last start. Of the 83 combinations that entered the arena, 27 managed to clear phase one. Only 13 rides made it through phase 2 without any mistakes, among them also home riders Bart Bles, Demi van Grunsven and Frank Schuttert.

Dutch rider Sanne Thijssen was less fortunate than earlier in the day when she just fell short of the podium in the Dura Vermeer prize. At the water obstacle, her horse Genasis landed in the water with one front leg and lost his balance, causing his rider to fall off. Genasis, however, went on to jump two more obstacles on his own. He seemed to stop only because he was unsure of what obstacle to jump next. Both Thijssen and her horse walked away unscathed.
