The program for the youth morning at this 75th CHIO Rotterdam will be very special. It starts at 10:00 AM and until 1:30 PM, there will be various beautiful, fun, and exciting performances. Afterwards, you can jump the "Working Like a Horse" mini-course with Kristy Snepvangers in the Kid's Kuip on your hobby horse.

Horseback Archery

We kick off the youth morning with a spectacular performance. Siem Budding is only 20 years old but is already the European champion in horseback archery! He started archery when he was nine years old, and at sixteen, he took his first horseback archery lessons in Hungary. He is now among the best in the world.

Driving Marathon

We continue the program with a driving marathon featuring three harnessed teams. With their single-pony carriages, they race through the marathon obstacles—you'll be amazed at how well they can maneuver!

Learning to Jump

When you watch the show jumpers and their horses soar over those high obstacles from the stands at the CHIO, you might wonder if you could do it too. And how do you learn to do that? Tim Moesman and the HCN Kids will show you in the Bixie & Friends demonstration.

Vaulting

Vaulting is one of the seven disciplines within equestrian sports recognized by the KNHS. In vaulting, gymnastic exercises are performed on the back of a cantering horse. Vaulting focuses on relaxation, flexibility, balance, strength, rhythm, and harmony with the horse. Essentially, it is acrobatics on a moving horse. Cynthia Danvers has competed in World Championships in vaulting and later became a trainer and lunger for vaulting teams. She has even judged at the World Championships. During the youth morning, she and her team, composed entirely of children, will provide a vaulting demonstration.

My Little Ponies

For Kristy and Kitty, also known as 'My Little Ponies', everything is about having fun and conveying a positive message. With their Shetland ponies, they show how enjoyable small ponies can be and that you can achieve amazing things from the ground. They are skilled in many areas, but their greatest passion lies in Horse Agility and putting on their colorful and cheerful shows. They aim to spread their positive message not only to horses but also to followers and spectators. Through their recognizable rainbow obstacles and distinctive rainbow branding, they want everyone to feel welcome, loved, and heard. Their message is, "Be kind to yourself and be kind to each other, Love Only."

Family Power Dressage

Father Arthur and daughter Evi van Rooij will perform a pas de deux. Arthur has already made a name for himself as a dressage rider, and now Sofie is also making significant strides. She has recently won the national titles for Junior riders. They will compete against Britt Kikkert van der Linden and her mother Eva van der Linden. Britt is also doing very well; just a few weeks ago, she became the Dutch champion in the Children category with Jerenzo Texel. Petra van Esch (44) will join her three daughters Naïta (14), Ima (11), and Febe (8) to perform a quadrille.

These three families will ride a test during the youth morning, and the audience will get to judge!

Britt Dekker and George

We will end the morning with a performance by none other than Britt Dekker with her amazing gray horse George. Last year, we saw how much George enjoyed being in the Kralingse Bos, so it's sure to be fun again!

Kristy Snepvangers hobby horsing in the Kid's Kuip

After the program, you can head to the Kids Kuip for more fun activities. There, you can compete in a jumping contest with Kristy Snepvangers and her hobby horses. You are welcome to bring your own hobby horse too! Will you jump along the mini-course?
