Become a Friend of CHIO Rotterdam

Every year, the Friends enjoy top international equestrian sport during the CHIO Rotterdam. Sport at world level, where business connections follow naturally. However, connecting goes much further, throughout the year entrepreneurs and administrators meet during the well-attended business drinks. In the past ten years this network has grown into a good and active business network.

The 'Friends of the CHIO' Foundation was founded in 2005 by former Mayor of Rotterdam Ivo Opstelten and now has around 125 Friends, including a number of prominent Rotterdammers. The Friends are one of the Legacy Partners of the event.

What does 'being a friend' mean to me as an entrepreneur?

Friends are invited to a network meeting at least 4 times per year. The Friends' meetings are always well attended . In recent years, networking with the Friends has proven to be successful. Each meeting is organized by one of the Friends who regularly offer their hospitality.

Friends receive 2 tickets per day for CHIO Rotterdam and are also invited to 3 network meetings during the event.

Membership of the Friends costs: € 1,750 (excluding VAT) per year and is tacitly renewed every year. You can cancel your friend's membership in writing every year. This can be done before December 15 for the following year.
