In 2011, reigning Olympic Champion Dressage Charlotte Dujardin won with Valegro team gold in Rotterdam

The FEI European Championships in Rotterdam in 2011 were the first important championship for reigning Olympic champion Dressage, Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro. The British team won gold.

On January 26, 2011, Charlotte rode her first national Grand Prix with Valegro in Addington. She closed it off winning. In April 2011 Charlotte made her international Grand Prix debut with Valegro. Then the scores went up in a rising line. Less than 4 months after their first Grand Prix, Charlotte and Valegro took part in the European Championships in Rotterdam, where they made an important contribution to the team gold.
